Thank you for your interest in the community grant program.
Over the past ten years, the eight funders who are part of the New Jersey Healthy Communities Network have supported over $3 million in community grants in all 21 NJ counties. During this time, grantees successfully implemented Policy, Systems, and Environment changes and leveraged an additional $1.56 million to further their work in advancing healthy eating and active living. We are proud of this work and our partners.
As we enter our second decade of work, the Network’s funding partners affirm our commitment to a healthy New Jersey for all. As we evaluate and review the Network’s first decade of work, we are also considering changes that have taken place in New Jersey and new opportunities that exist. We are using this moment to learn from the past and prepare for the future as we reaffirm our vision.
During this time, the important capacity-building tools and resources supported by the Network will continue to be fully available to our grantees and community partners.
We look forward to continuing our work in partnership with you to ensure that all New Jersey communities are a healthy place to live, work, learn and play.
